Naruto is a show from Japan that focuses around the life, and those involved in the life of a Ninja Naruto. Now, when I say “ninja” it’s not the typical black suit, covered face running around in the dark killing people. In fact, the main Character, Naruto, wheres a bright orange jump suit. Kinda hard to miss…
But I digress. Ninjas become Ninjas by attending the ninja academy and learning to mold their chakra, or inner energy. By doing so they are able to perform fantastic feats otherwise not possible. For example, by moving chakra to the soles of their feet they are able to keep themselves on top of water.
Naruto is a young boy, whom when we start the series, is a sad excuse for a ninja. He barely graduates from the academy and almost instantly finds himself involved in situations well above his head.
Only Naruto has a special secret. When Naruto was only a child, a massive demon called the 9 tailed Demon Fox (also known as the Kyuubi) attacked the Hidden Leaf village where Naruto was born. The Fourth Hokage (or fourth leader of the village) sealed the fox inside of Naruto. By using the chakra of the fox inside him, Naruto calls forth incredible strength, even for ninjas. But having this power also makes him a target.
In reality, there is so much that takes place in this series (after all it’s over 200 episodes long), it is difficult to put up an entire summary of the show. The information that you have here hopefully will give you a heads start on the show.
