About Episode 45

Can I just come out and say how much I hate the staff over at Dattebayo? They really don’t have any respect for the people the sub for, and they can get really temperamental when you mention anything bad about their service. Yesterday, some nut job viciously insulted Dattebayo for being late to release the sub. Their reaction? They are delaying the release of the most recent episode, even threatening to not release it. Because of one, all must suffer. Do I hate the person who wrote the email? Not at all. I don’t think he was thinking intelligently, but the blame here really goes to Dattebayo. Their poor feelings were hurt and they are acting like children making everyone else suffer as well. It’s not professional, nor even common courtesy one would expect from mature people.
Perhaps many have made this connection, but if any of you watch Seinfeld, and even if you don’t, you have probably seen or heard of the “Soup Nazi” episode. Dattebayo is the virtual “Soup Nazi” of Naruto. They are virtually the only ones offering the service, they are by far the fastest, but watch out if you do something even remotely out of line. Why do we keep going to them? Not because they are good. It’s only becuase they are the only ones even offering the episodes.
Forgive my rant, but I’m sure that many feel the same way that I do. There are times when I feel hopeful that Dattebayo will follow through with their threats to stop subbing so that my dependence on them will finally be resolved. I’m sure that eventually someone out there would take their place.
For now, we must wait out the temper tantrum of Dattebayo. My apologies to everyone having to wait for their release.
