Sorry I’m late posting this. I didn’t even get to watch the episode until about 11:30 last night, and with having to go to work and all, I couldn’t stay up late to finish this. As for a review/summary, it’s been posted in the summaries pages. It’s a good episode, but nothing really happens… Just read my summary to learn more.

Sorry. I really am. I do, however, feel your pain…

So for now just relax, watch a clip or two, or just watch the last episode to ease your hunger. Naruto will be back and up for a while, while no foreseeable breaks loom in the distance.

…and I have finally gotten around to updating some of the stuff on this site. Namely, I have finally gotten around to writing my reviews/summaries of the last 3 Naruto episodes (I’ve been busy lately… life doesn’t seem to say “oh, sorry, I forgot you have a website to maintain”). Also, I’ve decided that I’m going to add some videos. I’ve been holding off out of copyright fears, but I think that I’m just going to go ahead and post them. I don’t know if they violate copyright any form, and if the copyright owners object, just let me know and I will take them down.

I’m not sure if I’m mad at them for pulling a prank, or at myself for falling for it. Well, while I try and figure it out, go and download the latest episode. It’s back up and ready for download.

Can I just come out and say how much I hate the staff over at Dattebayo? They really don’t have any respect for the people the sub for, and they can get really temperamental when you mention anything bad about their service. Yesterday, some nut job viciously insulted Dattebayo for being late to release the sub. Their reaction? They are delaying the release of the most recent episode, even threatening to not release it. Because of one, all must suffer. Do I hate the person who wrote the email? Not at all. I don’t think he was thinking intelligently, but the blame here really goes to Dattebayo. Their poor feelings were hurt and they are acting like children making everyone else suffer as well. It’s not professional, nor even common courtesy one would expect from mature people.

Perhaps many have made this connection, but if any of you watch Seinfeld, and even if you don’t, you have probably seen or heard of the “Soup Nazi” episode. Dattebayo is the virtual “Soup Nazi” of Naruto. They are virtually the only ones offering the service, they are by far the fastest, but watch out if you do something even remotely out of line. Why do we keep going to them? Not because they are good. It’s only becuase they are the only ones even offering the episodes.

Forgive my rant, but I’m sure that many feel the same way that I do. There are times when I feel hopeful that Dattebayo will follow through with their threats to stop subbing so that my dependence on them will finally be resolved. I’m sure that eventually someone out there would take their place.

For now, we must wait out the temper tantrum of Dattebayo. My apologies to everyone having to wait for their release.

While the Fighting has ended, the tension hasn’t. New plots develops, new insights are gained, and promises of some stellar action is awaiting. Overall, this episode is great. Read my Review/Summary to get more info about it.

After such a long break from any episodes, Episode 42 finally airs AND it is available for download despite Dattebayo’s threats  to the contrary. Expect an episode summary as soon as I can get around to watching it.

In anticipation for the new episode this week I have put up some direct downloads of the clips that I have made for this site. They are big, and may take a while to download, but they are there and waiting. As more awesome stuff happens, I will add more videos, so keep an eye out.

In case some of you were wondering, there is no Naruto episode this week. They are sadly taking a two week hiatus (leaving us on quite a cliffhanger) and will return on the 10th of January.

You may also have noticed the website for Dattebayo being more or less unavailable. While I can’t say for certain the reason for it, after their most recent episode of Bleach was released they came out with a press release saying their subs would be suspended temporarily. Apparently they are frustrated with their subs being put up on the internet without their permission, supposedly putting them at more risk legally. My estimation, and it is truly complete speculation at this point, is that they are just having more fun with their pranks. Rather cruel pranks, for sure, but I would expect everything to be back up and running smoothly before the next episode is released. Until then, go enjoy all your holiday gifts and parties, and live life to it’s fullest!
