This page is my own personal thoughts and musings on the story and prospects of Naruto. Some of these ideas will be obvious, some perhaps not so obvious, maybe even a couple downright stupid. Nevertheless, feel free to post your own ideas or shoot mine down.
NOTE: Before I get into any of my own personal theories and general thoughts, please understand that I will not reveal any spoilers, nor tolerate spoilers. Comments that reveal more of the story than already has been revealed according to the Japanese Schedule will simply be ignored and deleted.
Naruto the FOURTH Hokage?
So we really have no idea where Naruto came from. We know that he has no family at all whatsoever. As far as we know, Naruto was a test tube baby made in a laboratory. Is that why he was chosen to carry the burden of the Kyuubi? Or is it something else?
It’s certainly unavoidable noticing the similarities between the Fourth Hokage and Naruto. However, we know from the battle of the Third Hokage and Orochimaru that the technique the Fourth used to capture the Kyuubi was something that took the life of the user, sealing the enemy inside the user. Or at least something like that.
So the theory is this: The fourth Hokage used this deadly technique to save the Village from the Kyuubi, sealing the Kyuubi inside himself. What normally would have been a fatal technique was lessened by the healing power of the Kyuubi. So instead of death, the fourth Hokage was reborn. Come on, at least it’s plausible.
Legendary Sanin to be replaced by Team Kakashi
The legendary Sanin, three Ninjas made famous for their quirky behavior as well as their incredible talent as ninjas. All together they make up Jiraya, Tsunade (the current Hokage), and Orochimaru. Team Kakshi has found themselves being more than just trained by these three ninjas. They have also taken up their personality traits. To be more specific, Naruto is turning into Jiraya with his wild personality as well as “perverted” habits. Sakura has learned not only Tsunade’s strength, but her temper as well. And we all know that Sasuke has followed the likes of Orochimaru, letting hatred take him over. These similarities should be unmistakable and clear by now. Even so, let it be said that Team Kakashi will most likely become three legendary ninjas.
Naruto Will Never Be Hokage
No really, I believe this and can back it up too. Remember how I said Naruto is turning into Jiraya? Well, perhaps you can also remember when the episode after the third Hokage died and the village was looking for a new leader. Their first choice was one of the legendary Sanin. It was, first and foremost, Jiraya, not Tsunade. Only after refusing did they settle with Tsunade. So here is the theory: Naruto will eventually be offered the title of Hokage. And he will refuse. Why? Because he will have grown up and learned that having the title is not everything. After all, Naruto wants the title so that he can have the recognition and acceptance. He won’t need the title anymore, I speculate, after the story is finished.
Sakura Loves Naruto
This should pretty obvious people. I shouldn’t even have to write it out. But, nevertheless, it’s too fun to ignore.
So why does she love him? Well, recall that Naruto’s particular ability is not being a great ninja, but rather getting people to like him, and create bonds with him. He’s motivated a lot of people to do a lot of things just by his own conviction and energy. How can Sakura ignore this? In fact, she doesn’t. Remember how Naruto went “four-tails” a few episodes back? Well, when Sakura was healing Naruto, Yamato was saying something about how she was looking at him. It was pretty clear that he was going to say that she had feelings for him. At least I thought so.

ok what will happ to hinata….i wanted hinata n naruto to becum together..but story is goin in differnt way/…then i thought sasuki wil cum back to konoha

i blive that naruto is the son of the fourth hokage and the proof is jiraiya told tsunade this so a rebirth of the fouth and futhermore i blive that naruto isn’t as similar to jiraiya as you may think after all jiraiya gave up on orochimaru and naruto will never give up on sasuke so why shud he give up on hokage

according to the manga… Naruto’s parents are Minato (the fourth hokage) and kushina his mother. I don’t think that the 4th could be reborn into naruto!

-test tube baby in a laboratory you say??, how come you came to that conclusion??you can’t even see a baby naruto in a laboratory in anime even in manga!!

No. Will he refuse to accept the opportunity to attain his dreams???,he always wanted to become the Hokage ever since he was a child, unlike the perverted Jiraia that has “no other ambition.” do you get the point?,besides, he always used to oppose his sensei’s thoughts and philosophy in life…I think this theory will fit best: Maybe, Nara Shikamaru will be the next Hokage(probably the sixth) before Naruto will be asked for the position of Hokage. But the story is up to Masashi Kishimoto.

Raven, stop posting stupid comments. As for the test tube baby comment, I suggest rereading that theory. As for Naruto, he’s started to become perverted just like Jiraya. Naruto is maturing and his childhood is dream is becoming less important as his desire to retrieve Sasuke grows. That theory is the most likely theory here.
Also, I deleted your other posts because of their stupidity. I will continue to do so if you don’t hold yourself back.

To Raven:
Remember when they were going out to meet with Sasori’s contact, and Yamato treated them all to a spa and dinner? Yamato caught Naruto trying to sneak over and peek over to the girls side. Perhaps you recall Yamato mentioning that Jiraya came close to death only twice in his life, and one of them was for sneaking a peak in the girls bath when Tsunade was there? Yamato warned Naruto of doing the same thing.
As for disagreements, please remember that these were all theories based completely on the anime’s progression. I don’t know as much as Manga readers, so naturally my theories will not be the best. I try to cater to anime only viewers on this site.

I like your theories, a few of them are kind of off base, but you are right when you say you are going souly off of the anime! I see how you come to your conclusions on the anime. I just hope the anime stays along the manga storyline, unlike BLEACH, who had a long side story before getting back on track. most know the reasons behind that. anyway… like i said, nice site and i hope you continue! Love Naruto and i hope everyone else does as much as i do.

I have read up to 440~ in the manga, and a lot of your questions are answered..I would highly recommend reading the manga- it makes the whole naruto experience so much better.

i have read somewhere that itachi joins akatsuki not of his own will but because he was forced to. i’ve also heard that when itachi dies, he gives his mangekyou sharingan to sasuke. can anyone tell me how much detail has the manga revealed…???

Alright, I’m not too sure if you’ve read the manga series but it actually says that NARUTO IS THE FOURTH’S SON. Clear and crystal. Jiraya had given his first book to his pupil (the fourth) to read first and he liked it so much he wanted to name his son after the main character (Naruto). His mother is from the Hidden Rain village if I’m correct. Read the manga it says it all. Oh, and Jiraya dies which was really sad):

the manga answers all of these questions. needless to say itachi is now one of my favorite characters. naruto has a father… and mother. Jiraya is one of my favorite Sages and Naruto turns into a BAD a**

in the final battle between naruto and pein after jariaya’s death naruto is on the verge of becoming the nine-tailed fox! after pein destroyed part of the village and kills hinata naruto is told by the fourth hokage’s spirit that he is his son and reseals the nine tailed kiyubi! after his father tells naruto to forgive pein (his brother) he cannot and that is the only way for peace in this world naruto suppresses the nine tails and kills pein!

You all need to stay cought up on the manga. First of all Naruto didnt kill pain he died bringing every one he killed in the battle back to life. Afterwards Tsunade is hospitalised and danzo declares himself hokaga. All the kagas gather and saskue ,trying to get revenge for his brother, seeks to kill danzo. Saskue get past gara and pissed off stonge guy, but then is nocked out and is saved by madrya. Thats were the manga is now. 4th hokaga is narutos dad, sasukra is just now figering out that naruto is still trying to keep his promes to get saskue back and that he still loves her but shes starting to like him more,as for squad 7 becomeing the new saning i think it might happen. By the way any one know what gift itache gave naruto to conteract saskue’s gift i read about it but it confused me.

When Naruto heard Gaara was the Kazekage’s son he was shocked, then Temari said” A jinchiruuki is always close relatives of the Kage. I am sure, yhey even resemble each other, that yondaime(Namikaze Minato)is Naruto’s Father. Its just my opinion but I’m ganna stick to it. And Sakura loves Naruto but not in the way you think, its more like a brother-suster relationship. Naruto not becoming Hokage is deep but I’ll agree.

a couple contradictions
-the fourth hokage was his dad..watch further into the show unlrss you have already
-the sanin were a team when givin that title and saskes not coming back
he’s most likely gonna die
although I was thinking the same thing you were for moment
-if naruto is offered the title of hokage of course he’s gonna take it “ninja way” rememer
-(you contradicted yoourself on this one) if they do turn into the sanin naruto and sakura wouldn’t happen
and I just dont see it happenin
